Meet the Orthodontic Team Cumming

Tracy, Practice Director

Tracy has been working in the dental field for over 24 years so far, having studied at Lanier Technical College and State University. In addition to her managerial expertise, she is an Expanded Duties Certified Assistant, BLS/CPR certified, and a member of the American Association of Dental Office Management. What she enjoys most about her work is getting to be a part of such a life-changing transformation for our patients! She also loves being part of such an amazing team.

Tracy and her husband, Carey, have five children. Outside of the practice, she spends lots of time riding her Harley, boating, keeping up with college football (Geaux Tigers!), and just being outdoors, especially wherever there’s sand and waves. She also always enjoys a good day at the casino!

Samantha (Sam), Treatment Coordinator

Sam earned her associate’s degree in business and moved to Georgia, where she became a licensed insurance agent. Her favorite part of her career is working with a fantastic team that collaborates well and laughs together. She also firmly believes that there’s no such thing as a bad question, so she loves helping patients get the answers they need.

Sam lives in Cumming with her two little girls. In her free time, you can find her at the casino, on the beach, or ice skating. She loves being near any type of water and being outdoors.

Julie, Treatment Coordinator

Julie began her career in orthodontics in 1993 and brings a wealth of first-hand experience and knowledge to our patients. As the treatment coordinator, she loves meeting new patients and seeing the transformation in their smile and confidence they gain throughout their journey.

Julie has a husband, three daughters, and five grandchildren who she loves spending time with. Whenever she isn’t at the office, you can find her shopping and decorating!

Flor, Office Concierge

Flor graduated from Centennial, going on to complete dental assisting school and earn her certification as well as her expanded functions certificate. She’s also bilingual! Her favorite part of working with the Serenity Orthodontics team is making people feel welcome and building relationships with patients. She loves seeing patients’ confidence grow throughout their smile journey.

Flor lives in the Roswell-Alpharetta area with her partner and three daughters who keep her busy. One of her children is in the Navy, one is in dance, and the other does Karate! In her free time, she loves glamping, reading, solving puzzles, cooking, and organizing.

Virginia, Office Concierge

Virginia brings years of experience in business management and other related fields to the practice. She takes pride in being an effective and clear communicator, and her favorite part of working at Serenity Orthodontics is being able to speak with and assist patients and parents when they call the office. Throughout her time at the practice, she has made many friends and rewarding connections that she values immensely.

Virginia is a widow with two sons and two daughters, as well as six beautiful grandchildren. Whenever she isn’t at the practice, you can find her gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and dogs.

Kiesha, Financial Coordinator

Kiesha is highly experienced in insurance verification and billing for dental and orthodontic practices. Her favorite part of her career is being able to help people through financial hardship, allowing them to still complete their treatment and leave the office with a more confident smile. She also loves working with a wonderful team!

Kiesha grew up all over as a military brat, but she now resides in Cleveland with her partner and two children, and their three dogs. In her free time, she loves spending quality time with her family.

Beatriz (Betty), Clinical Lead

Betty brings an absolute wealth of knowledge to the team and has over 20 years of experience in the field. She’s a certified orthodontic assistant and has her expanded duties certification as well as her CPR and X-ray certifications. Her favorite part of her career is the family dynamic of the team. She loves working with everyone at the office and all of her patients, and she enjoys being a part of creating beautiful smiles!

Betty loves spending her free time with her three children and their dog, Suki. Whenever she isn’t at the office, you can find her watching movies and celebrating all of her children’s successes in life!

Jasmine (Jass), Orthodontic Assistant

Jass completed her dental assistant certification and has her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in biology. She’s a certified dental assistant and has her CPR And X-ray certifications. Jass’ favorite part of her job is building bonds with her coworkers and patients and sharing the knowledge that she’s gained while working in the field. She also loves being able to play a role in increasing her patients’ confidence.

Originally from Lithonia, Jass now lives in Darula, Georgia. She has two brothers on her mother’s side and one sister and four brothers on her dad’s side. Whenever she isn’t at the practice, you can find her cooking, shopping, editing videos, and spending time with her friends and family.

Abby, Orthodontic Assistant

Abby has been working as a dental assistant since her junior year of high school and is currently in college to become a dental hygienist. She’s CPR-certified and brings years of experience to the team. Her favorite aspect of working at Serenity Orthodontics is having the opportunity to grow professionally.

Abby currently lives in Flowery Branch with her boyfriend, two cats, and one dog, and she has a younger brother. Whenever she isn’t at the office, she enjoys cooking, working out, and going on hikes with her dog.

Isabella, Orthodontic Assistant

Isabella has her associates of science in biology and has worked in administrative roles in the past. Her favorite part of her job is being able to support such a hardworking team and making her patients happy.

Isabella has three brothers and two sisters, and in her free time, she loves playing pickleball and volleyball.

Ky, Orthodontic Assistant

Ky started her career in prosthodontics and has been in the orthodontic field for several years now. She has her dental assistant certificate as well as her expanded duties certificate. Her favorite part of what she does is being able to work with such a helpful and amazing team. She enjoys seeing patients leave the office with truly perfect smiles and how that impacts their confidence.

Ky has a young son and is expecting a baby girl! Whenever she isn’t at the practice, she loves watching movies and hanging out with her son at the park.
